John R. Horn PharmD, is Professor of Pharmacy and Associate Director of the University of Washington Medical Center Pharmacy Department.

Dr Horn completed his undergraduate pharmacy training at Washington State University and his clinical pharmacy residency at Deaconess Hospital. He completed his Doctor of Pharmacy training at the University of Cincinnati in 1977. Dr Horn developed clinical practice sites in acute care medicine and cardiology and served on the faculty at the University of Cincinnati prior to joining the faculty at the University of Washington.

Dr Horn is co-author of the reference text Drug Interactions: Analysis and Management and the quarterly Drug Interactions Newsletter. In addition to publications related to drug interactions, Dr Horn has published in the areas of cardiovascular and gastrointestinal therapeutics and pharmacokinetics. He serves as a reviewer for several medical and pharmaceutical journals and has made numerous educational presentations.
