Tom O'Dorisio MD is a Professor of Internal Medicine and Endocrinology at the University of Iowa College of Medicine, USA.

Dr O'Dorisio earned his BS at Regis College. He earned his MD and completed a thesis in Anatomy at Creighton University. He also completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship in Endocrinology at Creighton.

Dr O'Dorisio is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Gastroenterology Association, and the American Society of Clinical Endocrinologists, among other professional organzations. He is the chairman of the Endocrinology Section of the National Medical Information Network Advisory Council, and he serves on the Clinical Practice, Standards, Guidelines and Therapeutics Committee of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.

Dr O'Dorisio is the author or co-author of over 200 peer-reviewed articles and two patents, in addition to numerous chapters, reviews and other publications. He serves on the editorial board of The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism.
